postheadericon WATCH: Store Owner Shoots At Armed Robbers, Sends One To The Ground

WHITEHAVEN, TN — When a pair of thugs entered a phone store looking to make some cash, they were soundly beaten by the store’s owner.

They were already brandishing their guns, and that was all the warning the owner needed to counter the attack.

As FOX 13 reports:

A Whitehaven store owner fought back when two armed robbers came into his store. It happened just Friday evening just before 6:00 p.m. on Millbranch near Shelby Drive.

The store owner fired his gun and started shooting at the two men. He hit one of the suspects who immediately dropped to the ground. The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. The other suspect is at large.

By the time the would-be robbers made it a few feet inside the door, they were being fired on.

As the surveillance video below shows, the fight was decidedly one-sided.

One of the suspects was reportedly hit, and found at the hospital later.

Take a look at the surveillance video below:

These thugs didn’t know what hit them.

This is another example of the importance of carrying firearms at work. These robbers were clearly ready to shoot the workers at the store.

Everyone in the area was threatened because someone thought it was a good idea to attack a local businessman, and if no one was armed except for the robbers, there’s a better than average chance an innocent person would end up seriously injured, or worse.

Stay safe out there, folks.

postheadericon Good Guy With A Gun Saves A Woman, Infant, And Injured Good Samaritan; Kills One Bad Guy, Sends Second Running

SHAWNEE, KANSAS — A mother leaving Walmart went to put her infant into her car when she was approached by two strangers. Both men struck her repeatedly in the head, dropping her. When a Good Samaritan saw what happened, he tried to intervene. He was brutally shot in broad daylight. Thankfully, another man saw what happened to the first and shot the suspect who shot the Good Samaritan. The other suspect fled the scene.

This is a developing story.

The woman and the Good Samaritan were both critically injured. They were taken to the hospital. The Good Samaritan is still in the intensive care unit after receiving life-saving surgery and the woman was allowed to leave later the same day.

via KMBC-TV

“You know our hearts and prayers go out to both of them for a speedy recovery. I know we have many people out right now, many teams of officers and detectives. We had to make contact with the family of good Samaritan number one to get them to the hospital to be with him, but apparently good Samaritan number one is able to talk,” said Maj. Dan Tennis, of the Shawnee Police Department.

Two Good Samaritans happened to be in the parking lot of a Shawnee Walmart at the same time. It’s tragic the first got shot but that allowed the second to know beyond any reasonable doubt that these were two bad guys that needed to be taken out. Judicious marksmanship secured the first and, having no shot on the second, Good Samaritan Number Two held his fire and let police take care of the rest.

The police are still on the look-out for the second armed suspect.

This is why we need you to carry everyday. This is why we train and we stay prepared every single day. Because there’s not enough of us willing to stand up to scum and defend ourselves from violence.

What, pray tell, does a man get when he attempts to rob and injure a mother in front of her infant in a parking lot of Walmart? Where is the ability to diplomatically negotiate that?

There isn’t.

It comes down to the ability to judiciously use deadly force when it applies. And in this case, it most certainly did.

The deceased suspect is believed to be John W. Simmons, III. He was 28 years of age at the time of his passing and from the sounds of it, that was ten more years than he needed.

K-9 officers attempted to track the second suspect but the dogs incorrectly identified the wrong person. The second suspect is likely to remain hidden because he doesn’t have a gunshot wound to tend to. That was his accomplice’s problem.

Judicious marksmanship and the readiness to come to the aid of your fellow man… That’s just a few of the ingredients that makes this country the best in the world. We have the inalienable right to defend ourselves from harm and, in some cases, come to the aid of our neighbor as well.

To both Good Samaritans who stepped up when someone called for help: our sincerest thanks and gratitude go out to you and a speedy recovery to the first man who responded and was seriously injured.

postheadericon Woman Sends Home Invader To The Hospital With Precision Shot

TULSA, OKLAHOMA — A woman shot one home invader in the chest after him and his buddy burst in through the front door. That brought their robbery to a standstill and left neighbors wondering, “if it can happen to her, can it happen to us?”

That’s precisely the question we need to be asking ourselves.

As Oklahoma’s News on 6 reports, the two robbers hit the house on a Sunday night. Thankfully, this woman was ready and able to handle the situation.

via Oklahoma’s News on 6

“As they continued towards her, she drew the gun up and shot about three rounds at the suspects,” said Corporal RW Solomon.

They obviously thought this was going to be an easy job. Elsewise, why would they in the world think that an armed woman home alone wouldn’t open fire to defend her life and her property?

Wrong choice. One of them is in the hospital after his buddy evacuated him to a nearby medical center. He’s in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he’ll likely remain until he either gives up the ghost or comes back in a severely debilitated state.

There is no such thing as taking a round center mass and going on to have a good day.

One neighbor, new to the area, talked to the local news station about her feelings on the situation.

“I went to the QuikTrip and when I came back, there was just a bunch of people outside a few hours down over there,” said one neighbor to Oklahoma’s News on 6. “I just moved in. This is my second month living here so…a little nervous, yeah.”

Sounds like we’re about to get ourselves one more convert to the Church of Concealed Carry.

No matter where we move, no matter how good we think our neighborhood is, there’s always the potential for some dumb thugs to think your home is prime real estate for the taking. If you choose, you can go through life hoping “may the odds always be in your favor” or you can even the odds a bit by being prepared and carrying every day.
